Returning User: Graduate Program

It seems so long ago now, but I vividly remember undertaking the Graduate Program at a financial company.  There was so much that I found to be thoroughly enjoyable and enriching.  Meeting more than 200 grads was no doubt one of them.  Sitting in a room with a bunch of likeminded people about to share a pivotal career moment gave me a buzz, especially eager to get on with my career development.

Looking back there was much that the company did right with the program, but so much that was left to go wrong.  Curiously, when I spoke to my fellow graduates over the course of the year, the same issues kept coming up in conversation.  When I met friends of my graduate colleagues (from other grad programs) over a drink on Friday night, they too seemed to have the very same problems.  It seemed no matter the department, company or industry that companies made the same mistakes with their graduate programs.

Interestingly my colleagues kept pointing out the same dysfunctional organisational characteristics that were at odds with the feel-good welcoming presentations.  There was so much we were about to learn regarding how things really worked in the office that nobody else would tell us about them.  The company’s rising stars had all figured it out and you could see it in the way they connected with certain decision makers.   These lessons were there to be figured out, because nobody would give serve them to you on a platter.  “Why give the competition a headstart?”

Well that is exactly what I intend to do.  This is the Graduate Program that will raise the curtain on those lessons and show you how to build a successful career.  A step-by-step guide that covers all the bases a successful graduate needs to cover in order to get ahead, while avoiding the pitfalls.  I will show you how to take charge of your career ambitions and develop the momentum to take you from the Graduate Program to the career fast track.

You will learn about the the unwritten laws of the office and why understanding these hidden dynamics are critical to your success.  Avoid the mistakes common to graduates by understanding how and most importantly why, things work the way they do in the office.  Also, you will develop productivity skills to take the grunt out of your work and let your talent shine.

Ultimately, I will show you how to get a promotion fast and  get promoted first! Don’t risk missing out on the updates and subscribe through this  RSS feed.  You will be notified automatically as soon as the site is updated with valuable information that is sure to give you a competitive edge in the office.
